Import a Houston Permitting Center POS Transmittal

 

Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, you will receive an email from the Impact Fee Administration department if your application includes a request for wastewater capacity.

 

1. Open the email from Impact Fee Administration.
2. Copy or transcribe the shopping cart reference number found within the email.
3. Click the Launch ILMS Online Permits hyperlink to navigate to the iPermits website.

 

 

 

1. Login to the iPermits Customer Portal with your user name and password.
2. Once logged in, click the Import a Houston Permitting Center POS Transmittal button.
3. Enter or paste the utility capacity application reference number you have copied from the email. To see this step, click here.
4. Click the Submit button.

 

NOTE: Once you have successfully logged in to iPermits, you will be directed to the Contractor Status screen before you can continue to the iPermits Online Service Menu. To see this step, click here.

 

 

 

1. Enter or paste the shopping cart reference number copied from the above email. For more on locating the shopping cart reference number, click here.
2. Click the Submit button.

 

NOTE: Once you have selected to transfer the POS shopping cart to your iPermits account, you will be directed to the shopping cart payment process. Click here for more on how to process payment for the selected shopping cart.

 

 

1. Review the sales order in the POS Transmittal Transfer request. If the listed sales orders are correct, click the Transfer this Shopping Cart to My Account button
2. Once you have transferred the POS shopping cart to your account, you will be directed to the shopping cart payment process. To see this step, click here.

 

 

 

NOTE: Once you have transferred the POS Transmittal to your account, the sales order will be added to your shopping cart.

 

1. Select the sales order for the POS Transmittal, if it is not already selected.
2. Click the Make Online Payment via Credit Card or Electronic Check button to continue the payment process.

 

 

1. Select Individual or Corporation or Firm credit card holder type. Click here to view this step.
2. Enter the payer name.
3. Enter the complete billing address associated with the credit card account.
4. Click the Update Payer Information button to save contact information.
5. Click the Continue the Credit Card/Electronic Check Payment Process button to continue the online payment process.
6. Click OK to begin the payment process. The shopping cart content will be locked. You will not be able to make changes or resubmit a payment request until the shopping cart is unlocked at 5 am. Click here to see this warning.

 

 

After calculating the total amount due for a shopping cart, you can make payment with a credit card or electronic check through the payconnecxion.com, a credit card and electronic check payment site managed by Chase/JP Morgan.

 

Click the Make Payment - Registered Payer Payment button to continue the payment process.

1. Select the Credit/Debit Card payment method option.
2. Enter your credit card number.
3. Click the Continue button to process payment.

1. Enter the cardholder name as it appears on the credit card.
2. Select the month and year of expiration date of the credit card.
3. Click the Yes button to save this account. This action will create a payment account for you using the Chase website.
   • Click the No button if you do not want your account information saved.
4. In the Card Billing Address section, select the Use Profile Address as Billing Address option to use the billing address associated with your user profile.
   • You can also select the Use New Billing Address Entered Below option. If selected, enter the full billing address associated with the credit card being used.
5. Click the Continue button to continue with the payment process.

 

Note: Online payments may be assessed a convenience fee. The fee will be displayed on the payment verification screen.

1. Review your account and billing details.
2. Enter your email address in the Email Address field. This is a required field.
3. If you would like an email confirmation sent to your email address, select the Email Confirmation option.
4. Enter your iPermits password in the password field.
5. In order to process an online payment, you must agree to the Terms and Conditions listed in the Terms and Conditions section. To accept, click the checkbox.
6. Click the Confirm button to process payment. Once your payment is processed, the shopping cart will be marked as paid. To see this, click here.

Once you submit payment, you will be redirected to the iPermits Shopping Cart Maintenance page. This page displays payment details, including shopping cart number, payment date, time and confirmation number.

 

Keep this number for your records. If you selected the email confirmation option, an email confirming the online payment will be sent to the provided email address.
